The Continente Labs shop is located in the centre of Lisbon. The customer only needs to remove the products from the shelf and leave the shop, using solely the QR Code for this purpose.
SOPSEC participated in work supervision from the very beginning of the process.
In this store, the entire technological system stands out, integrating a large number of ceiling cameras and sensors on the shelves which aggregate the products selected by each customer, creating virtual shopping carts, with payment being processed automatically through the associated card. This technological and artificial intelligence system was developed by the company Sensei, which closely collaborated with Sonae MC in the materialization of the first shop.It is the first shop without cashiers or register of products of a European brand.
