Alternative Structures Design of the most important works in Campus Agostinho Neto Universityin Luanda, Angola. The last floor was the biggest of the building. Initially designed in metallic structure by an American company, but hardly achievable at the time in Angola, a variant solution was adopted in prestressed reinforced concrete in the floors and cores. Complex solution due to the need to control deformation, staging and construction processes. It was a defeated challenge and is today an icon of this campus.
