This is a school complex integrated in an enclosure with an area of approximately 11,000 m2, whose project was authored by the architects Vitor Palla and Joaquim Bento de Almeida. It dates from 1959 and is included in the List of assets of the Municipal Charter of Built Heritage and Landscape.
As a rehabilitation work, the project implies a compromise between the pre-existence and the proposal, with a view to preserve character, update performance, and reinvent the building, all as a way to obtain a new unity of the whole.
